Job Description: Sales Executive (Medical Equipment)
The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling medical equipment and devices to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare facilities. This role requires strong sales acumen, the ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals, and a deep understanding of medical technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Promotion and Sales
- Promote and sell the company’s medical equipment, hospital furniture, and healthcare technology solutions to hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Organize product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Educate potential clients on the features, benefits, and applications of the company’s products.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including hospital procurement officers, biomedical engineers, doctors, and facility managers.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and product utilization.
- Regularly visit clients to follow up on sales opportunities and address any concerns.
Market Research and Reporting
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback to help refine product offerings and sales strategies.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports, tracking performance and forecasting sales growth.
Product Knowledge and Training
- Stay up to date with the latest medical equipment innovations, industry trends, and healthcare regulations.
- Provide technical support and product training to healthcare providers and hospital staff.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales materials, brochures, and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
Education
- B.Sc./HND in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical equipment sales, healthcare technology sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the medical industry.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices, hospital equipment, and healthcare industry regulations.
Working Conditions
- Travel to hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions within the assigned territory.
- May require attendance at medical conferences, workshops, and industry exhibitions.
